Will Tank Johnson see more jail time than George Ryan?

Cook County Jail, where Tank Johnson will call home for at least 2 months

Tank Johnson immediately taken into custody to serve time Lovie Smith and Brian Urlacher testify on Tank's behalf I am still not happy about the Thomas Jones trade, but at least Tank will be out of Cook County Jail for the next season

4 of the Aldermen whose wards are involved in the Olympics planning voted down the 500 Million collateral
Three of the four African American aldermen whose wards would be directly impacted voted against an ordinance Wednesday that would guarantee at least $500 million.
The guarantee is contingent upon the city being selected for the 2016 Summer Olympic Games.
City council members voted 45-5 in favor of the ordinance. All five aldermen opposing the ordinance were African American - Arenda Troutman's (20th), Dorothy Tillman's (3rd), Toni Preckwinkle's (4th) - whose three wards would be the most impacted. Howard Brookins Jr. (21st) and Shirley Coleman (16th) voted no also.

Three of them are in runoff elections, Ward 3, 21 and 16. Troutman, Ward 20 as you know, the lady with bags of white powder, yelling conspiracy lost big to a Police SGT., So Troutman has all kinds of attitudes anyhow. The ones in runoffs are claiming there will not be enough benefits to their Ward. Will it help their runoff elections? Soon we will find out!

So, what you are saying is that because they are claiming not enough benefits to their ward so therefore vote no? You have to explain to me. Are they just caving in because of poltiical reasons...

Oh, I put a summations abotu the hearing right now on my blog.

Pretty much they think they should get money for improvements or something to better their Ward be it streets planters, plants, lighting etc. artwork, whatever.
But they are in run-offs and trying to make it look good they are trying to get as much for their Wards as possible, without money (as in taxes) coming out of the taxpayers pockets to cover the 500 million collateral for the Olympics.
As far as Troutman goes she has turned out to be a nut job, that is a criminal, that has(had) a boyfreind who was a gang leader, and she is going around talking conspiracay etc because she lost, so what does she care, she does not care if she shakes things up in the consel meetings, she has nothing to loose

I just hope that the taxpayers will not carry that burden to pay 500 million plus for Olympics. It would bankrupt the city.
