13th Ward makes Election News

What can I say? I live in the Best Ward in the City!

Voters in other Southwest Side wards — 13th, 23rd and 18th — all showed up in greater numbers than the city average.
Even though Ald. Frank Olivo ran uncontested, turnout was about 57 percent in the 13th Ward. SW Side Wards put the rest of the City to Shame

Smith now will earn $23.45 million over the next five seasons, an average of $4.69 million -- more than three times the $1.45 million he was scheduled to make in 2007 in the final season of the four-year, $5.2 million contract he signed in 2004

Out of 11K voters 10K+ voted for Daley and 103 write ins for Alderman.....so almost 11k for Olivio, I wonder who they wrote in for? We were one of 6 wards with more than 10K votes for Daley.....could it be we are in Brother John's Cook County District as well? (Commissioner John Daley)
    Wards 13,19,23,41,42 & 45 biggest Daley voters.
