Maybe we can get Todd to play with some Tigers at Lincoln Park Zoo? Come on Todd doen't that look like fun to play in the snow with the Kitties?
This is only the beginning, Todd Stroger get sworn in as President of Cook County. They are already going to drag an old law out and have it work to his advantage. Can I watch the swearing in event.......somehow I think it's best not to.
When Todd Stroger is sworn in as Cook County Board president today, he will become the rare president who doesn't also hold one of 17 board seats.
That means if the county board votes 9-8 to take action Stroger doesn't like, he could cast a tying vote just to kill it. Or, if a commissioner is absent and there's an 8-8 tie, Stroger could break that tie.
Yes and by the way Former Alderman William Beavers has the Commissioner post vacated by John Stroger. Todd the beginning of his PresidencyMore of the Same

What is the pics 1 and 2? Is that part of the Zoo? Nice tigers... All of the evildoers should be fed to the tigers. But, then again, the tigers may suffer from heartburn. LOL! So, Todd is swore in again... I know that you are not pleased with that....
The tigers are behind really thick Plexiglass in their outdoor exhibit....I wonder how many silly smirks Todd used today in his swearing in. My favorite is when he is asked something we know he knows and he shrugs his shoulders and puts his hands up and this silly chuckle.
No the tigers might get worse than heartburn. Already they are bringing out some old unused loopholes for Todd......and this is just the beginning. I wonder how long the press is going to put up with all his silly smirks, and chuckles(and he has a lot) before they really lay into him because he should start to know what is going on sooner or later, maybe?
Well, the Gerbil had a lot of smurks on his face for the past 6 years and look at what is happening to him? Someone in the press will wipe that smirk off of Todd's face and let him know what time it is.
So, pics 1 and 2 are from Macys? Wow, I like the design. The Macys in my area doesn't look like that. In fact, some of the Macys look like crapola.. And some look like nice. Depends upon the area. Nothing but brick and mortar store in some areas.. Only Bloomingdales and Neiman Marcus and upscale places such as Fashion Island are nice places to walk into...
It just never ends in the Windy city
So this could mean 100 cases they dealt with will have to be thrown out. I guess the Cook County Jail is overcrowded to begin with (sigh). And of course now we have cough cough cough Todd to dealt with that.
LOL! The city never sleeps with crimes. And Toddikins has to deal with that! Dirty cops.. Sheesh... 100 cases in a city with no money.. Amazing...
25 degrees today?? Man, that's really cold weather for me... It was very windy yesterday and today.. It is about in the 60's today. It will drop tonight.. Oh, we had an earthquake early this morning: 2.9. I didn't feel it. The earthquake wasn't near me....
I know what you mean about co-workers not loosing weight and eating donuts. I have heavy smokers for some co workers who don't understand why they are so sick in the winter when they are outside a few times a day puffing it up! Also in the summer these puffers always have sinus problems, uh hmm wonder why?
A 2.9 quake, never been in one.
That is funny about the puff n' stuff co-workers. Some of the co-workers where I am at are so desperate to smoke that when it rains, they are out there until their last puff! I glad that they banned smoking in restaurants.
About earthquakes, I am use to it. About 10 years was another story. When we had the Northridge earthquake about 10 years ago, my whole apartment bsilding shook and didn't have electricity for 5 hours and no phone for 6 hours.. That comes with the territory living where I am at.
And the die hard smokers will sell their own mother for a pack of cigarettes regardless how much the cigarettes cost. I can see the Chicagians will look for the loose change in their car and in the mattress for cigarettes. The cigarettes in NY are more expensive than Chicago.
