Downtown South Side

The unofficial landmark on the Southwest Side. Maybe he'll get off the top of the building and leave Cook County when Todd takes over.

"The unofficial landmark on the Southwest Side." LOL! Someone should ask the man who voted for on Nov. 7. That is an interesting way of promoting an eye care business.. I wonder how many people get distracted from driving.

That Indian has been there for eons....seriously the American Indians have been so busy trying to get University of Illinois' mascot removed (Chief Illiwek) that well as you can see by the pictures on my side of town we don't get tourists over here. Originally the Indian was for a Smoke shop and he had a feather. Now for at least the last couple of decades he has had glasses. When people bought the optical shop people protested that the Indian would also leave, and they decided to, take some arrows out of him (yes South-siders loose with bows and arrows got the Indian a couple of times) and leave him up. But now he has glasses and gets repainted every so many years.
