Todd Stroger with bonus Lance Tyson

Todd Stroger is not even in office yet but, breaks first campaign promise to get rid of Gerald Nichols, whom Bobbie Steele put on suspension when the Feds started looking at him. But it gets better, when Todd was a State Representative he sponsored a $12,000 grant for Nichols daughter, for college.
Now Todd's new chief of staff will be Lance C. Tyson, who previously worked for Mayor Daley in the Office of Intergovernmental Affairs where he represented the city before the Illinois General Assembly.
Stoger's transition team leader will be former Chicago Buildings commissioner Mary Richard-Lowry.

Yes plenty of White Castle fast food hamburgers. Yes the pictures and out the window are from the Chicago Cultural Center. Yes that would be an El. We are above ground mostly here. Chicago was built on a swamp you know.

If you go on any of the many architectual tours, may I suggest a boat one of which there are many going starting at Grand Avenue, just East of Navy Pier, down the Chicago River, they will let you know of the difficulties having to put huge pilons (sp?) deep into the bedrock before they could build the building(s). At least since the Dave Matthews band dumped their waste from a bridge unto an unsuspecting tour boat, this should not happen again.

Oh and I stay away from fast food, especially White Castle, I have not eaten there in years even though I pass them all the time. The best coffee in Chicago is at the White Hen's (Chicago's version of 711)
