Marshall Field's

Macy's in the Marshall Fields Building windows. I just don't remember Mary Poppins in the Jungle or a Gingerbread House?

So far the city is paying attorney fees for those accused in the hired truck scandal.
Also fees paid to Noelle Brennan are pretty steep.
Brennan
It's just getting more costly to live in the city

Yes this is just one store and just part of it. Macy's (Marshall Fields).

"Chicago taxpayers have spent $595,080 since the Chicago Sun-Times blew the lid off the Hired Truck scandal to pay for private attorneys for 20 current and former city employees questioned as witnesses in the federal investigation that has branched out into city hiring."

Man, that is a shame on the taxpayers.. It cost the taxpayers a 100 million dollars to the Gropinator's special election and defeated the gropinators' propostions on the ballot.. A lot of money wasted when it could have needed in different places...

And that just part of the store? Where is the rest of the store? And how really big is Marshall Fields (Macys)???

It is the length of a City Block from Washington to Randolf on the State street side, and Wabash which is the street East of it. It is big, really big. There are at least 3 floors of just women's clothes, maybe more. I would rather be in a Museum than a store, but that is to the best I can remember. I know the kids floor is all of 5, and the whole first floor is just makeup, jewelery, purses and some specialty stuff. The whole 7th floor is restaurants and frango mint stuff.

Well, that is dream come true for any woman. Three floors? I would never see my gf ever that day! Man, that is alot of floors for just a woman and just counting the makeup and jewelry. Well, I don't have to worry my gf in the makeup, perfume or jewelry area. She buys that online.. Because she is tall, you has to sometimes go to the mall to buy her pants in the tall section. She has long legs. She has a hard time trying to find pants and jeans on line.. She is mostly an online shopper.. But, I guess you would understand being a woman and all.. I just go with her sometimes shopping with her as long as there is a section in the dept. store with a T.V. where I can watch sports.. Maybe the restaurants sound good. You mention museums.. What are the museums like there? And what are the displays?

Oh here is some photos of one of the largest and known museums in LA:

    LACMA

    Another pic of LACMA

We don't have a museum in my area.. But that is the closest which is a very long drive...

Specialty stuff, we have handmade baskets from Africa, Rwandan Women helping support the widows each other etc, that is on the first floor and other specialy stuff like that.

Gosh museums are endless, I will load some cultrual center stuff, but they have people guarding the artwork so you can't take pictures. Our Aquarium is nice, but I like the Baltimore Aquarium better. The Field Museum you can get lost in. The Science museum, the art museum, well just go to Tribune Tower and find all the rocks, that is a picture I loaded with the lite up flying butresses. The Tribune Tower on the outside is a museum itself with a piece of the great wall of China, castles etc. I have pictures of this too. There is the Surgical Museum of surgical science, the Art Museum, Peggy Notabart Nature Museum, and so many more.

Carson's has at least 2 floors of Women's clothes. I am sure she can find her size in one of these stores. I am fortunate to be an average size 5'7" so I don't have problems, I can go to Target for Jeans.
    Special Prosecutor Biloxi said...
She only looks for Gloria Vanderbilt jeans and pants. She loves that designer wear.. I know Macys sells Gloria Vanderbilt wear. And you find jeans with your height at Targets? I don't know if I can trust her shopping on 3 floors with my credit card. A credit card and shopping all day spells trouble. LOL!

Since when is 5'7" so tall? Most of my cousins and a sister are over 5'9".
    Special Prosecutor Biloxi said...
Well, that depends how you look at? Modeling starts at the height of 5'7" in Europe. Now, in the U.S., modeling has changed.. 5'9" is tall but I know a lay that is 6'3." Now, that is tall.. So, tall is an interpretation.. My gf is 5'8." That would be considered tall to a man who is only 5'5." I think anyone that is taller than Libby is considered tall! LOL!

I come from a family that have tall cousins.. I think the tallest is 6'5." My own father is 6'2." Used to play basketball in high school and college...

I am way too anemic looking to model. Yes I eat meat. My Mom's Dad was 6'2", so is one of my brothers. My Mom's brother is 6'6", and have cousins are 6'4", 6'3".

You have quite a number of family members that are tall.. Tall can be great or not so great. I grew up too fast that my parents had to buy shoes for me because I kept outgrowing the size.. And clothes was another story.. My brother stayed short in his early teens and about 16 or 17, he grew tall.. Amazing...

My Dad was only 5'9" and I am taller than the women on that side. Most are 5'4".
    Special Prosecutor Biloxi said...
Well, your dad would be considered short for a guy. But then again a woman that is 5'4" wold consider your father to be tall.. You are taller than your dad.. That's interesting.. But then again, I take after my father in tallness, outspokenness, and stubbornness...

No Dad was 5'9", I am 5'7" his Mom etc 5'4"

Pretty windows, but not very holiday-ish.

(I'm 5'4", by the way, which is technically average for a woman, but a lot of people would say that I'm just plain short.)

    Happy Holidays!
